I use L-16s. Tall 6 volt floor polisher batteries that are about 400 amp/hours each. The previous set (east penn or Dekka) lasted 9 or 10 years. I decided to try trojans on the next set. Quite a bit more money. The lasted about 18 months and no warrantee after 12 months.

Needless to say, I have gone back to east penn and have been at least 3 years and going strong.

I will never buy another trojan if I can get a wallmart battery. 850 bucks should last more than that. At least give me a break on the new set. But they wouldn't.
