I watched the video 3 or 4 times and picked up different details each time. One really dramatic thing I noticed was the crane mount camera uses a fairly wide angle lense. The altitude shown early indicates they were working at 30 to 36 feet. When a wave came by to bring their altitude below 30 ft the audible "atlitude" alarm sounded. During one hoist sequence the raft goes from being far away to right up close when a larger then usual wave came by. Flying to work at 30 or so feet with 20+ foot waves must be a real Check of Guts. I will not speak ill of the dead but sometimes unfortunate decisions are made. When that happens I am glad we have the superb professionals in the Coast Guard to pick up the slack.
