My dealer said this was something they hadn't seen before: ZF requires purchase of a cooler in order to get a 2-year warranty, otherwise it's just 1-year. Hopefully they'll accept proof that I already have a cooler. In any event, it's interesting they've apparently bumped up the importance of having a cooler.

I'm still deciding whether to replace the damper plate. The old one looks pretty good.
