10x is too much on a boat
I have a pair of 10x42 binocs...
Sure, Todd, but you got arms of steel from hefting them boats....
"steel arms" are not what you need
Stick with the seven power by fifty. You want light and image stability in your viewing.
Had those for years, then got some Nikon 8 x 40s. LOVE 'em

My I-S binos are Fujinon, not Canon
The Fujinons are well made and work fine
There's a good reasong 7x50's are the most widely used recommended...
I second that. I've had mine for over 20 years.
I've seen reported at 300' vs 357' as a field of view for the 7 vs 10x power.
