Many of you know that I really enjoy photography. I started "Wednesday is PHOTO DAY" many years ago on the old Cruising World bulletin board. I often posted that I like sunrises and sunsets, and I still do, but now that I'm retired I've really worked hard at trying to improve. I bought myself a low end DSLR (Nikon D3100) and have been reading and studying about lighting, composition, etc. I even participate in weekly contests at digital-photography-school.com, winning one a couple of months ago.

Well, I entered a photo contest on the Golden Isles Facebook page, and my photo is in the final five.
