Winter is suddenly what it ought to be around here. More than a foot of fresh light snow has fallen above the high tide line. This was our back porch this am. I could have ridden my tray to the public landing, but thought better of it. The Boat Club is quiet today, being sunday. Not much sailing right now, but I touch my boat nearly every day. A CHRISTMAS package this big should have a red bow. Lobstermen are still fishing out there, they'll have to shovel their dinghys today. We've been X-country skiing around the harbor on the public trails. My wife with her Celtic blood loves this weather and smiles all day long when she can be out in it. Daisy likes it too.
