Anyone familiar with the industry average for acting as a "client finder" for a bareboat charter company? This assumes putting together a prospective charter client with a charter company.
The finder uses their telephone, contact list etc. and perhaps some vetting of the client. The Charter co. does the real vetting, meeting and greeting etc.
The reason I'm asking is that we have been approached by some 'finders" (who have been around a while) in order to help charter our sailboat. The charter co. which we have dealt with for the last 14 years is now defunct.
I had heard that 10% is average, but would appreciate input from those on this BB who may know better...
Thanks in advance...
