41 degrees F today in Western Penobscot Bay.

It is an interesting dynamic with the flow of fresh from the Goose River. Spring and big rains can swell the river to an impressive flow(winter river flow is light), but the ocean always wins on the flow of the tide.

It's always amazing to me how much the wind direction effects our temperature, all year round. The sea usually rules there but when it comes off the land in winter, we might as well be inland Canada.
