the ones that have the restrictions or covenants to maintain. It seems like a good deal for us(public), owner pays the bills and maintains it, or we take it back. I've never seen this one(I didn't go into Jonesport when we were at Roque Island some years back). Sounds like a tricky permit process for a house. Is this right on Mistake Harbor?
I read this one(behind our boat)in the Thoroughfare is privately owned. It's pretty neat, round metal structure, great walkways all around. The owner has had to sink a ton into it and has to keep it pretty much the way it is. There's a group that is involved with it allowing some overnights and visits.
Glad we found an owner. If you could adapt it to off the grid living, I'd love to spend some time on this then. I wouldn't want to live on it though. After watching people like us sailing by, it might feel like a gilded cage.
