Here I am sitting in a cafe in the beautiful

town of Asuncion on the middle coast of Baja. The weather is turning colder the further we move up the coast and I'm not liking it. We departed La Paz five days ago and had a pretty good trip so far. A Lot better then the last trip up in June with it 30 knots most of the way up. We've had in the teens most of the way. I wouldn't even call it the Baja Bash....yet. You never know what's So far so good. The engine quit once due to the rough seas set up by the wind chop but the filter was changed pretty quickly. It's a good thing to because we were rounding a point cutting it close to dodge the current. It always happens like that. Just at the wrong time. Such is life.
