We leave a dinghy on our mooring, oftentimes a week, sometimes for 2-3-4 weeks between uses. We have been using an old Boston Whaler Squall for many years. The nice thing about the Squall is that it is self-bailing so we don't return to an underwater dinghy. But the Squall is really on its last legs, so I'm looking for a replacement. I have considered the Portland Pudgy, but its a bit heavy and expensive
Any other ideas/suggestions for self-bailing dinghy?.
Also considered some of those solar powered dinghy pumps, but not sure how well they work? anyone with experience?

Or should I just get a big bucket???
