I've seen a boat launched, but only a dip to get a Concordia swelling after a bunch of work. Abby the Harbormaster has gone back to work, I saw her snowboarding this weekend.
But oh,.... is it ever bleak around here right now. Greys and darker greys are what you see, not a green or blue in nature, to be found. Spring is the longest season in Maine, bar none.
That's why I love this aerial photo taken by a local photographer. I can almost smell the lush summer air looking at this. Taken over Rockport harbor, Camden just visible the next cleft up the coast at the base of the Camden Hills, and Belfast not quite visible on the horizon. Islesboro Island stretches for 17 miles on the right side of the frame. This is just a little 10 mile slice of the western coast of Penobscot Bay.
Anyone sailing to Maine this summer?
