Today's cruisers could certainly do well to read at least one of these sorts of tales each year, to better help keep things in proper perspective... The stories of people like the Smeetons, Vito Dumas, John Guzzwell, just to name a few - astounding, what they did, with so little relative to what we have today, and how well they maintained their sense of humor and enjoyment throughout...
