I thought that was kind of a bummer, a shame really. It used to be you could put anything you wanted up there showing your names, boat name, etc. Colorful flotsam, netting, buoys, and so on. Some folsk really got creative and did some cool things, sculptures almost, some folks took days to create masterpieces. Then they started to regulate what went there, and basically limited to driftwood signs, how sterile. And then they stopped it all together and tore it all down. I was bummed, I liked walking up there year after year and checking it out. It cannot be seen from around the island unless you're right there. I liked seeing what we had put there years ago, and all the other boat names we've met over the years in the Bahamas. Maybe they had another reason, but I was bummed. Like slapping moorings all over the place throughout the Park in search of more revenue, I disagree with some Park moves. I understand there may be sensitive areas like protecting some reef from anchoring and wanting to zone certain areas to anchor, but there's no question the bottom line of installing a shitload of ugly mooring balls was, in fact, "the bottom line" for places like Shroud, Hawksbill, Emerald Rock and Cambridge Cays. I hate all the those mooring balls, they're disgusting, I think the Park really did a dis-service here ... along with Boo Boo Hill. They call it progress ? Life goes on, cheers, John
