... in my old Dragonfly 920. It had a Yamaha 9.9 high-thrust 4-stroke.

We met friends for a dock-side dinner across the Sound in Huntington Harbor, and they sailed a Beneteau 34. Over dinner I made mention of the relative roominess of his boat, and he commented that he also had a speed advantage under power. I said "I doubt it", so after dinner we had a short drag race (under power) as we came out of the channel. We won on acceleration and top speed.

Another plug for Defender
- It is worth it to support businesses like Defender, even when it costs a couple bucks more.
