The Bahama entry fee strikes me as a flagrant grab for money - for no return to the boater. Seems they would do better with a lower key tax on stuff that boaters need and that islanders already have - perhaps a tax on water (pay for the de-sal plants)? Limes? Gin (real islanders drink rum)? Chicken (real islanders eat iguana)? Other suggestions welcome..
