I can replace the steel cylinder 3 times for the cost of 1 aluminum. The locker is enclosed and dry, the only moisture comes from the condensation on the tank. The original 2 lb. tank in the poly box lasted beyond the expiration date on the tank. I expect the steel tank to outlast me.
