The demise of the CWBB had to have been 2005 or sooner because I was still there. I left in October 2005.
The "powers" tried to change the format back in the days when Jeff Roy was the webmaster, but Roy managed to get the format back because of popular demand.
A couple of years later, the new honchos decided to change the format again so it matched the boards of all their other magazines -- and wouldn't listen to Herb or anyone else, and Roy was long gone. I was assigned to moderate the board . . . and I had nothing to moderate.
And along came Phil . . thank-you Phil.
