Here's my idea of a good liveaboard sailboat.

BEAR is a year round liveaboard boat. A Northsea fishing boat design turned motorsailer. It's as big as a house(that's what I would need)! It takes Daisy 10 minutes to walk around it.

The owner and his wife (Brits) lived on BEAR for 10 years on the coast of Greenland. No wonder they have no problem in exposed Rockport outer harbor where they spend about 7 months of the year. In the fall, they move it to the Belfast docks. "We're done with moorings in the winter", he tells me. He works at Rockport Marine.

Home Sweet Home gets a bit of paint every summer when the travel lift slows down. As homes go, low maintenance.
