wrapped all (long) radio cables with a metal tape and grounded that at one end. Short of shielding the cable, the same way we did on spacecraft. In a pinch you can get aluminum tape at a home store and use that.

Our RAM mic in our cockpit rotted from the sun in a year in the Sea of Cortez, so I am looking into some other way to handle it out there.
