This probably discussed numerous times here, but wondering, what would be a good remedy for restoring "a bit chalky & faded" 20 year old Gelcoat ? This is a smaller 20 foot boat, I'm thinking ...

A good washing; then
3M Super-Duty Compound applied by hand, buffed off with rotary polisher using a 1" pile wool pad;
3M Perfect-It II buffed off with rotary polisher using a 1.5" pile wool pad;
3M Finesse-It II Finishing Material buffed off with rotary polisher using a wool/acrylic polishing pad;
Collinite Wax #925 buffed off by hand with soft cotton or microfiber cloth.

A bit overkill perhaps ? Suggestions ...
