I've never met anyone with as much 'cross brand' experience at Stephen. I've never known him to 'filter' his knowledge - he listens to your concerns, tells you what he knows, and let's you make your choice.
When I worked there, the sales folk in the store tried to be the same way - informers rather than salesmen per se. I remember well one buyer that wanted 2 of 100 amp Balmar alternators - a good sale, but I advised him against it and told him why (not enough battery capacity). He understood, but felt guilty that Defender had lost the sale. I assured him that Defender would make it up from him (he agreed).
