Yup, by accident I thought I was putting it in the water tank but,,,, OOPS!, the diesel tank instead, 35 gallons.
We were in Bocas Del Toro. I pumped out the water and we left the next day with no problems at all. I assume condensation from a winter layup would be different than just putting a hose in the tank and turning the water on.
The one thing I remember was just how easy it was to correct my unthinking mistake. We've taken on fuel in a lot of doubious places and conditions but have never had a single problem. Makes me not understand what all the fuss about water or contaminated fuel is about.
