Sorry, but don't have much experience in this area...But many Marinas we frequent have poor Wifi reception. Many devices (Amplifiers, signal extenders, etc. )described on this site apparently have to be plugged directly into the laptop or Ipad. What if I just want to stream a netflix movie to my wifi ready DVD player? All I want to do is amplify the Wifi signal so I can receive it below decks without having to plug in.
