Pulpit Harbor on North Haven is a popular destination: it's not far from Rockland, Rockport and Camden; it's well-protected and it's pretty. But it can be crowded as with all such places, like Hadley Harbor down our way. But Tom Young always raves about Cabot Cove, just off the entrance to Pulpit. And he's right. We had a beautiful spot to wait out a day of rain before heading further east.
We were treated to a double rainbow that just hung in the sky for the longest time.
And a fittingly foggy Maine morning the day we left. There was pretty much no more fog as we ventured to Frenchboro and Great Wass. But more rainbows!
