Arrived in Crescent City Ca on our way south. Easy leg from Newport Or. With 2 overnights. Crescent City Marina was wiped out with the tsunami that hit Japan. They have almost finished the rebuild and I have never seen a marina built so tough. The steel pilings are 3 ft in diameter and there are lots of them. Wind howling outside now with forecast gusts to 55 knots and stronger expected Sunday .
