Some of the floating docks around here are getting a little old; this one seems to be trying to renew itself.
The dark hulled boat on the right is a Niagara 30 that my dad bought as a bare hull in 1967 and finished off in our driveway. I grew up sailing on that boat until I was 8. The current owner does a lot of work keeping Lively Lady in shape. I raced again on her for a few years in the mid to late 90's and learned a lot from the Foys. David and Jamie Foy, sons of the owner, went on to be Shark world champions for a couple of years. That's appropriate since the Niagara 30 is really just a stretched out Shark.
