After shopping around for Teak, considering the labor involved, and looking at various plastic versions, this seemed like the best all around solution and pretty much what everyone else was using. (except for those guys with "garages..." sheesh)

I took a good look around SDYC to see what folks there use, and I saw a lot of the Edson more expensive plates in use there. Figures.

This works fine for me.

I keep a cable wrapped around it and the rail just in case I don't have the OB on tight enough.
