Buying radar in Norway requires mortgaging the house. Everything is double to triple US prices
We plan to be in Scotland in the Fall, when a new radar would make sense, particularly in view of your info on being so satisfied.
What brand and model radar do you have?

We have Navionics on an iPad (our main backup nav) and have of course noted how cheap the charts are (about $100 for most of Europe)
I will look more into rosepoint and OpenCPN as you suggest
Do they give you radar on the PC screen?
We do NOT want a separate radar screen, but do want a radar that feeds the PC
