When our kids were learning to talk, we’d play that silly ‘sounds’ games.

“What sound does a dog make?”…’Woof’, they’d mimic.

“What does a cow make?”,….'Moooooooooooooooo’, they’d moan.

And we had a family favorite. ”What sound does a sailboat make?” … ’ssssssssssssssssssssssss’, they would hiss, softly, with a smile.

So for our two sailing terriers, we have installed Citronella Bark Collars. Amazing! One bark, and they were transformed. Now I’m confident we can eliminate any barks in a quiet anchorage, or under sail.

And I will find a permanent spot to mount a solar panel. These improvements should cut down on our motoring, decrease ‘woof’, and increase our, ”ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss”.
