I would think Steve White would use an old Sardine carrier as a platform for a houseboat. But maybe he's sick of boats! In the article, sounds like containers may not be the best start for a houseboat. Heavy(boat=bad), hard to cut, flexible. Despite those obstacles, he did a great job and the space looks very inviting.

I saw a few of houseboats on my first trip through the Blynman Canal and Annisquam River. Great trip, I'll post those eventually.
