Our stamp was only for 3d world officials in the customs office. if it's the official vessel stamp it has to have an official signature and date. I never had anyone ask for it but I pulled it out a few times just for fun.

The whole stamp thing is really a bit silly but fun. All that stamping and signing and dating. A bit like an old Harvey Korman / Tim Conway routine.
