So true, I see that on every island that is out to sea that I visit. Builders in Scotland and especially it's islands, reached for stone to build anything(that's what they had). No matter what is available, builders have always found a way. On islands, everything is a bit more dear than on the mainland.

These fishing- small boat sheds on Portree Bay are what you build if you need a shed. Nothing is thrown away.
