Shoveling snow in North Carolina...

There is about 6 inches of snow on the deck now, still snowing. We came into Wanchese Harbor at the beginning of the snow storm, it would have been nasty on the water. We found just enough water to get through the Roanoke channel, 6.8' was the minimum and we draw about 6.6'. Everything in Manteo and up through Kill Devil Hills is shut down. Wright Memorial closed. Cars in the ditch everywhere. That's what happens when you dump 6" of snow on a beach town!
