At some level, all of this has been reported before, but this report pulls it all together, and formally fixes blame. I am surprised that all but two crew members survived in those hideous conditions. The rigging nearly skewered them while trying to swim away from the foundering ship. We can thank the Coast Guard once again for going into harm's way.
