YOU are our hero!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for calling us back that night and telling us about the low overpass!!
I was able to use Google Earth street view to look at it and find a route around it that only took us about 5 min out of the way. BUT NO overpass!!!! You must have saved us at least an hour and a LOT of white knuckling.

WE BOTH agree, the visit was to short! We did enjoy the photos of your workings/sailing/boats, and THANKS for allowing us to pick your brains about the waters we are heading into. Maybe next time we can meet at anchor some place?

We are now safe in the SeaBrook boat yard in New Orleans, La. They even put us in a shed for a few days as we prep for our splash so we can do our work. Our plans are to take it very easy working on the boat a few hours each AM, then enjoy Mardi Gras!!! Weill head east after the big party.

The trip was ONLY 1524 statue miles, 143.42 gallons of diesel...
