When I rewired my mast, I replaced the coax for the VHF antenna. As I recall, I drilled two adjacent holes the size of the coax, one right above the other. These were cleaned up and then made fair using a rat tail file. A pad eye with two screws right above this hole keeps the cable from moving in any direction. Defender had a rack of these on the wall - I just picked one that looked right. Wider than the cable (to fit) and not too much bigger in height - made up the difference with some white electrical tape. Haven't seen a reason yet to get any fancier.
