Nice fore and aft balance for rowing. Dave Robertson tells me that resting water plane is nearly symmetrical fore and aft. It rows quite well in reverse. The spoon blade oars are a treat. There are two rowing stations though we'll just use one at a time.
The seam in the hull is visible here but looks fine to my eye.
Here I'm under power with the 2.5 hp Lehr. It reaches hull speed at idle and is not intended to plane, it is optimized for rowing. We maxed out at 5 knots with both of us aboard. I'm hoping my old home-kludged outboard tiller extender will work on the new engine.
Total weight of hull with seats is 152#. That's about at our limit for bringing aboard with the spinnaker halyard.
Note the roller furling jib. Nice convenience. Boom was off for motoring trials.
