My 12 -year-old grey AB Hypalon dinghy gets a chalky surface that comes off when cleaning but returns in a few months. If I don't clean it regularly it comes off on people's clothing. This is a 'beater' that's left at the dock full time to gets us to/from the mooring.
I was going to paint it with Tuff dinghy paint but a spring cleanup yesterday made me think I'd like to find a way to extend the original surface if possible. I gave it a coating with 303 and will keep my fingers crossed. It looks pretty nice now and I might make a mess of it with the Tuff paint.
Anyone else have thoughts about this? Washing my dinghy isn't how I want to spend my free time.
