() and a new sail is 10% faster than a serviceable but older sail..., then I suppose you could be looking at 20% performance improvemnt.
Flaking the main at the end of last season, we pulled a section of the leach right off! How good could the shape have been despite that it didn't 'look that bad'?.
Time will tell.
