Like this Concordia cockpit. Plank cockpit locker lids are nice to sit on, but it was nearly impossible to make them water tight. Concordia didn't try and instead made open bins below. The cockpit itself is the watertight barrier. This little door that utilizes the cut leafs of the bronze piano hinge caught my eye. Handy, I wonder what it accesses?

These folding bronze seats must have been all the rage when they came out. The gizmo of the day. Handy seat, or a gimmick? I never sat on one.
