Maybe that's the problem... the lack of publicy for the boats that do overcome some diversity...
It's not like everyone is blogging about all the times when the fit hit the shan... We are only hearing of the well publicized failures and rescues.
What happens when someone limps into port unaided... don't they pretty much just do so "quietly?"
I can't help but wonder how many "troubled craft" are brought into some port quietly by their crew, for every one that the media "glamorizes."
How many here have managed to bring in a "troubled craft" with nary more than a good pub story afterward?
