The rig type itself dates back about 100 years before CarboSpars 
In Response To: It has a main and jib, trimmed by rotating the mast ()
() Maybe not that long, but I believe there was a class that sailed with that rig in the Isle of White in the way back when.
Somewhere around 2000, I was on a junket to the UK to write about their boating products and we sailed on a Beneteau with an Aero -- not sure now if it was a CarboSpars rig. No shrouds or stays, no jibing worries, but a bit boring to sail . . . self-tacking, self-jibing . . . not much for the crew to do but pour drinks.
