... they say do NOT use Lithium batteries in the Freezer Sensor, even though that's exactly what the directions say. They say unless your Freezer is constantly -10 or below, regular inexpensive batteries will be fine, in fact, better. If you want to use Lith batteries in the Freezer, don't use the Energizer PLUS bats. They also do NOT recommend DuraCell batteries, especially the ones with the silver band under the copper top. They told me they're experiencing problems with "the more powerful batteries types". They recommended inexpensive Ray-O-Vac batteries, or the less expensive Energizer.
Both type batteries they said they are seeing issues with are the ones I've been using, Energizer Lith PLUS and the Duracells with the silver band.
So, we'll try that and see ...
