Gorgeous Girl's bottom has been soda blasted and barrier coated. Bottom paint will be going on over the next couple of days. I've nearly finished all the varnish work and have checked off every other item on my work list, We'll be heading back to Nova Scotia in a few days then on to Newfoundland and the French islands. Since I was last there, Grand Bruit has been evacuated but I believe La Poile is still hanging on. I'll be interested to see what other changes have been wrought in the six years since I was last there. I'll post updates for anyone interested once we reach Newfoundland. I can almost smell those pre-dawn croissants in St. Pierre.
