Hi all,
Due to a major surgery, I will not be putting my Catalina 36 in the water this year. I cover in the winter with a custom, 3-piece, frameless cover. I am located in Northern NY, on Lake Champlain.

I am in a recovery state now and cannot do much of anything for a couple of months. Our friends at the marina have offered to uncover the boat for the summer, the thinking is that it will remain cooler. I hate to impose.

I'd like opinions on whether I need to uncover. We do get our hot days up here. The cover is light in color, so I figured that should help.
