Made it to Gibraltar, the Med is next

Sailed into Gibraltar yesterday; had to, as the motor had died with dirty fuel problems. Now docked at La Linea Marina (actually Alcaidesa) a three year old very nice marina, very protected and with this view of the Rock from the cockpit.
Never had fuel problems in five years on this boat, but apparently six months sitting over the winter with full tanks did the trick. Couldn't check and clean them before we set off as they were full. Sailed in, anchored, changed the filters, and motored to our slip. I still have to pump the remaining fuel out of the tanks and clean them out.
Although I hear the Med is hot in the summer, so far we are finding it still pleasantly cool on the water.
We should be headed for the Med next week, Costa del Sol (Spain) first.
