You don't mention your boat's draft, but there should be plenty of water in the canal. Watch out for the shallow area inside at the Delaware side. The ferries cause a shoal to develop on the south side where they turn leaving their berth, but it is clearly marked by red buoys. Stay inside the channel in Cape May harbor. Except for the anchorage near the CG station it is shallow everywhere.
