the fronts just keep marching through following the same general path of southwest to northeast that has been the case for two years. That dip in the jet stream over the great lakes just won't let up. It is supposed to be in the low 50's, high 40's here tonight as another cold front comes through.

I recall that when we had the Catalina 25 August was "light air month".......I bought a drifter from Minney's Yacht Surplus because the 165 we had would just hang the winds were so light. The decision now seems to be do we go out, are the small craft warnings still up or should we reef before we leave the dock?
