Was just there (by car) and didn't see one single sailboat.

() Was just in the area over the Labor Day Weekend... (oh the crowds..) and did not see any sailboats in the bay... couldn't help but wonder if one could maintain the speed needed to slide in and out through the narrow passage with the surging waves.
Saw a couple whales while there... and quite a few more in Lincoln City some 20 miles north. A nice "family" of whales entertained us for a few hours just off the beach.
Beautiful place the Oregon coast. Too bad the water is so darn cold.
